Higashichaya and Kenrokuen Garden illuminated on an autumn night
Higashi Chaya District, where beautiful latticed windows remain, is a place where you can enjoy walking through the atmospheric streets lit up by lanterns and paper lanterns at dusk. Kenrokuen Garden is lit up in an area called "Autumn Stage."
Enjoy a special viewing of the gorgeous geisha dance and the local performing art "Kaga Tobi"

Higashichaya District at dusk
A special performance of the gorgeous dance of Kanazawa Geisha and the local performing art "Kaga Tobi" will be held in Higashi Chaya District. Please enjoy the dance of Geisha who have honed the art passed down since the Edo period and have been practicing rigorously every day. "Kaga Tobi" is said to have originated from the feudal lord firemen organized by the Kaga Domain in Edo during the Edo period who would quickly climb ladders to help with firefighting efforts.
