There were lots of bamboo shoots growing in the bamboo forests of Arashiyama Kyoto Apparently, at their peak, bamboo can grow more than one meter in a day. It's amazing! Bamboo shoots have brown skin, but as they grow, the skin disappears and the green bamboo is visible! Club Tourism
