Atami 's fireworks have two main features. One is the finale, "Niagara in the Sky," and the other is the "launch site."
The finale of each event is the "Aerial Niagara" event, which is not a special firework display, but a starmine display that is shot from the entire venue. Silver fireworks fill the night sky, shining brightly like midday.

Because the area is surrounded by mountains on three sides, like a mortar, the sounds of the fireworks being set off over the ocean reverberate, creating an acoustic effect similar to that of a large stadium.
