The concept of this train is "A train that lets you experience the local culture of the Yufu Highlands Line." We use ingredients from both Fukuoka and Daibu prefectures, and we prepare meals that are carefully prepared with care and attention. Enjoy different meals on each day of the week.

It operates on Hachinohe Line (between Yato and Kuji) connecting Aomori Prefecture and Iwate Prefecture. The "Running Restaurant" is an all-seat restaurant where you can enjoy a meal or dessert while watching the changing scenery. The train is made up of three cars: a compartment car, a live kitchen space car, and an open dining car, so you can enjoy a blissful time on this visually stunning and delicious train.

It was designed by Eiji Mitooka who has worked on numerous tourist trains.
Named after the Sanada family crest, "Rokumonsen," this train features a deep red color Image of the Sanada's red armor. The warm interior is made with wood from Nagano Prefecture. You can enjoy the view of Mt. Asama and the Chikuma River from the Shinano Railway line from Karuizawa to Nagano, and meals made with ingredients from Shinshu.

Based on the concept of "sake," which Niigata, the kingdom of local sake, takes pride in, "Echigo" comes from the old name of Niigata Prefecture, "Echigo Province." "Shu" stands for sake, "Kura" stands for storehouse, and the asterisk (*) between "Shu" and "Kura" represents rice, snow, and flowers. The name was chosen to evoke the image of Echigo's sake breweries and abundant nature. This tourist train runs between Jōetsumyōkō Station, Nagaoka Station, and Tokamachi Station, where you can enjoy Niigata's local sake and snacks.

The name of this train is French for "beautiful mountains and seas," and it is nicknamed "Belmont." As the train travels through the lush nature of the Himi Line and Jozui Line, the interior of the one-car train makes you feel as if you're visiting a gallery, with hanging strap decorations that are Image by traditional crafts along the line, such as "Inami wood carving" and "Takaoka copperware."


<Hokuriku> Hanayome Noren

This is a tourist train inspired by traditional crafts such as Wajima and Kaga Yuzen. The name of the train comes from the "Bride's Curtain," a traditional culture of the former Kaga Domain centered around Ishikawa Prefecture, and is imbued with the wish that passengers on the train will find happiness.

This tourist train, which debuted in Apr. 2017, runs from Tadotsu and Kotohira in Kagawa Prefecture to Oboke in Tokushima Prefecture. This train exudes a traditional Japanese atmosphere, and passengers can enjoy the pure and beautiful countryside of the Sanuki Plains and the beauty of the valleys created by Mother Nature, as well as cuisine made with carefully selected local ingredients from Kagawa and Tokushima.

The interior of the train is based on a color scheme of "madder red," reminiscent of the sunset, which is the climax of the Iyo Nada Sea, and "gold," which represents the brilliance of the sun and citrus fruits.The first and second cars have different colors and designs to create different Image.
From the train window you can enjoy a close-up view of the calm waters of the Iyo Nada Sea.

A luxury passenger car that was manufactured in 1906 but never saw action, commonly known as "ARU RESSHA."
This train offers a luxurious atmosphere and a course menu using high-quality seasonal ingredients from Kyushu. It runs between Hakata and Yufuin on the "Kyudai Main Line."

A new express train operated by Tobu Railway that will begin operation on Jul. 15, 2023.
While inheriting the traditions of the current Spacia express train, there have been various updates to the carriage design, interior and seats.
Please relax in the car, which has a modern and elegant design, with window frames made using traditional Kanuma techniques such as kumiko and bamboo weaving.

The new Yakumo will make its debut on Saturday, Apr. 6, 2024.
This original color scheme is based on four bronze hues: the turmeric color of the setting sun over Lake Shinji, the golden color of tatara ironworking, the copper color of the torches used in the Daisen Natsuyama Summer Opening Festival, and the red copper color of the red-tiled townscape. The overall concept, logotype, exterior, and interior design were supervised by designer Yasuyuki Kawanishi, who also worked on the WEST EXPRESS Ginga. The new Yakumo train will offer a fresh travel experience between the Sanyo and Sanin regions.

Tohoku Sanriku Railway

Since the JR Yamada Line was closed due to damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake, reconstruction work has been underway between Kamaishi and Miyako. After reconstruction, management was transferred to Sanriku Railway, and the section between Kuji Station and Mori Station was connected as a single line, and operation began as the "Sanriku Railway Rias Line." It is now the longest third-sector line in the country, with a total length of approximately 163 km! Club Tourism offers a variety of trips to enjoy Sanriku Railway, including trips on the transferred sections and chartered trains. Please come to Sanriku, which is full of attractions, such as a train trip that connects you with the dreams of reconstruction, as well as the spectacular coastline and fresh and diverse seafood.

The Gono Line is a railway line operated by JR East that connects Higashinoshiro Station in Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture, and Kawabe Station in Inakadate Village, Minamitsugaru District, Aomori Prefecture. It is a popular local line that many people want to experience at least once, running a total length of 147.2 km. Passengers can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Japan and the Shirakami Mountains from the train window. There are also tours on the "Resort Shirakami" tourist train, which features three types of cars that blend seamlessly with the landscape.

Tsugaru Railway is a local train that connects Tsugaru Goshogawara and Tsugaru-Nakazato, covering a distance of about 21km. It slowly rattles through the tranquil Denen while offering views of Kiyama from the train window. In addition to the famous "Stove Train" that is only available in winter, there are other trains with distinctive features that change with the seasons, such as the Hanami train that runs under the cherry blossoms of Ashino Park, which has been selected as one of Japan 100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots (selected by Japan), the "Wind Chime Train" in summer, and the "Suzumushi Train" in autumn.

The four-car diesel hybrid train is colored in a gradation from sunset orange, which Image the image of a sunset, to white, which Image the image of fresh snow, and features outdoor light to create a sense of unity with the scenery. The train runs between Niigata and Sakata, where you can enjoy views of the Sea of Japan.

A relaxing local train that feels just like an old house.
To Image the image of the countryside that Japanese people have in their minds, with its idyllic rural landscapes, rivers and mountains, the English spelling of TOKYO is written in reverse as "Oykot" in hiragana.


<Koshinetsu area> HIGH RAIL 1375

The Koumi Line, operated by the "HIGH RAIL 1375," is one of the JR lines with a high altitude and a section that is close to the sky. The line is based on the concept of being "the train closest to the sky," and offers views of the highlands and the Yatsugatake Mountains.

This is a new luxury tourist train that replaced the Super View Odoriko. It was named "Saphir" (French for "Sapphire"), Image of the beautiful Izu sea and sky that shines blue like the gemstone sapphire, and in the hope that passengers will enjoy a high-quality, luxurious and elegant journey. All seats are green cars.

There is one round trip each from Osaka Namba Station and Kintetsu Nagoya Station to Kashikojima Station.
All seats are wide and have three rows of deluxe car-style seats, ensuring spacious seating space.
The rail journey is enriched by the "observation car" with a great view, the "cafe car" where you can enjoy Light meal while taking in the views, and the "group car" which consists of Japanese-style private rooms, Western-style private rooms and salon seating.

Kagirohi is a group train exclusively for Club Tourism, which is a modified Kansai Railway 12200 series express train converted into the 15400 series group-only train.
This will be the first group train in Japan that will be used exclusively by a specific travel agency throughout the year. It can be used not only as a means of transportation for tourists, but also as a "culture train" that can serve as a mobile classroom or social salon!

Kansai Tourist Express "Blue Symphony"

The tourist express train "Blue Symphony" began operation in Sep. 2016.
It runs on the Minami Osaka Line and Yoshino connecting Osaka Abenobashi Station, where Abeno Harukas is located, and Yoshino Station, the gateway to Yoshino, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot.
Along the line, there are many attractions, such as Asuka Village, a designated Japanese Heritage Site; Yamadera, a registered World Heritage Site as part of the Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range; Mitarai Valley and Dorogawa Onsen, boasting beautiful natural scenery; wineries, local sake breweries, and local fruit specialties. The new long-distance train "WEST EXPRESS Ginga" began operation in 2020. The train's name is a reference to the attractive regions of each region, which are likened to stars, and is meant to connect these regions. The navy blue color of the train represents the beautiful seas and skies that Western Japan is proud of. Why not take a trip on this train that connects you to the attractive regions of Western Japan?

The train was designed with the concept of "Native Japanese," which refers to the rich nature of the San'in region and the origins of many Japanese myths. The interior of the train is decorated with crafts made from local San'in materials.

Debuting at Oct. in 2020, this train will operate on the Kure Line and Sanyo Line (between Miyashimaguchi and Onomichi Stations).
The exterior of the train will have a chic design based on "blue" and "white," reminiscent of the peaceful scenery of Setouchi. The name "et cetera" is derived from two Latin words: Hiroshima, meaning "many" in Japanese, and Other, meaning "various, etc." As the name implies, the train will offer a train trip that allows passengers to enjoy the many attractions of the Setouchi region, including the beauty of its many islands.


< San'in San'yo > SAKUBI SAKURA

Debuting Jul. 2022! A tourist train that will run between Okayama Station and Tsuyama Station on the Tsuyama Line, with the concept of a journey that creates beauty.
The name incorporates the three "SAKU" characters - "making" fun, "blooming" smiles and flowers, and "searching" for Other forms of beauty and fun - and it is a beloved train that matches the pale pink body color.

The trains run on the following routes: La Mar Setouchi (from Okayama Station to Uno Station), La Mar Shimanami (from Okayama Station to Onomichi Station), and La Mar (from Okayama Station to Kotohira Station). A sightseeing train running on Kochi debuting Apr. in 2020. Sakamoto The train will run partially parallel to the road of desertion that Ryoma and other Bakumatsu Shihan warriors bravely trod, while passing by lush green mountains and Taihei the ocean with a view of the ocean horizon.
The design of the train is based on the image of "Kurofune," symbolizing the history of the end of the Edo period, and "Sorafune," evoking the dawn of a new era that Ryoma and his companions dreamed of beyond the horizon, and the interior of the train is a modern space based on the concept of civilization and enlightenment.
Please enjoy a railway journey where you can experience Tosa-style hospitality and the aspirations of great figures.

“36+3” (Sanjyu-Roku plus San) through all the prefectures of Kyushu, the 36th largest island in the world. It welcomes passengers with 35 stories of enjoying Kyushu on five routes that change depending on the day. This train is a "running Kyushu" that offers a new way to enjoy travel that is a little different from what you've experienced before.
The Golden Road service runs every Monday from Hakata Station to Sasebo Station (only departures from Hakata Station go via Hizenhama).

The concept of the train is "Western Kyushu Sea Tour Train."
