Club Tourism Original Asuka Village Event

Sep. 2024, the "Asuka-Fujiwara Imperial Capitals" were selected as a domestic candidate for World Heritage Site nomination. The aim is to have the area registered as a World Heritage Site in 2026. Club Tourism will be holding an original event in the ancient capital, "Asuka Village," which is sure to be a hot topic. Let's get excited about the area as it moves towards World Heritage Site registration!

②The play "Taika Reforms" (approx. 30 minutes) by Asuka Theater Company "Time and Space"

He was a publisher who dominated the world in the mid-Edo period, and was a person who built the golden age of ukiyo-e.

*:. The myth "Amanoiwato Hiding". :*
The sun goddess Amaterasu Omikami was angry at the evil deeds of her brother Susanoo no Mikoto and hid herself in the cave of Ama-no-Iwato. The world lost all light and became pitch black. The eight million gods met at Amenoyasugawara to discuss how to get Amaterasu Omikami to come out of the cave. When Ame-no-Uzume no Mikoto danced in front of the cave, the gods applauded. Worried about what was going on, Amaterasu Omikami opened the cave a little. Tajikarao no Mikoto took the opportunity to throw the door open, allowing Amaterasu Omikami to come out, and light returned to the world.
After feeling remorseful, Susanoo no Mikoto went to Izumo Province and defeated the eight-headed serpent.
