Tips for enjoying island trips

Deploying the antenna of curiosity

Image the island's port scenery (Mukushima)

The fun of traveling is taking action on your own. You might have a chance encounter just by wandering around the port. First say hello to the fisherman sitting at the port and the old lady chatting in the alley! Find out some interesting stories about the island.
Sometimes there are islands where you feel like there is "nothing." But in fact, this is the real pleasure of "island travel." If you clear your mind, you will discover new things that you have never noticed before, such as the sound of the wind and waves, the scent of the plants and trees, and the rows of houses.

Each island has its own face

Each island has its own traditions and customs.
When visiting an island, please have the spirit of "thank you for your hard work" and respect the culture and customs of each island so as not to damage the island's natural, historical, cultural, and other resources.

To places that are difficult to reach on your own

We will visit islands that can only be reached by charter boat and islands that are rarely visited on regular sightseeing tours.
You can encounter untouched nature and culture, and be comforted by the island's tranquil scenery.

The appeal of the "Island Trip" tour

There are about 430 inhabited islands in Japan. Each island has its own character and is full of diverse charms. "Island travel" is a place where you can enjoy seasonal seafood, pristine nature, and above all, the warmth of the people. Why not try the world of "island travel" yourself?

There are still many rustic islands in Japan that have not yet been developed into tourist destinations.
Although it is not a crowded tourist destination, we are greeted by the endless blue sea, fresh local produce, and the laid-back, leisurely pace of island life.

Enjoy the bounty of the sea and mountains!

Be amazed by the fresh seafood caught on the island! (Image)

Most island tours depart with small groups of around 10 to 25 people.
Because the number of participants is small, you can Accommodation at a private lodging where you can fully experience the charm of the area (excluding some tours). At the private lodging, you can enjoy fresh seafood and mountain produce. In addition, drivers and guides who are familiar with the local area will make your island trip even more enjoyable.
