With over 20 years of history, "Flower Viewing" guides you on a trip where you can encounter flowers of all seasons both in Japan and overseas. We also offer courses accompanied by instructors and gardeners!
Introducing our instructors and gardeners
We would like to introduce our wonderful instructors who will be helping us with our domestic tours of beautiful English gardens, nearby fields and hills, and little-known flower colonies, as well as our information sessions, courses and events.
Gardeners and Wildflower Instructors (in alphabetical order)
Ueno Dr. Yuki Sunayuki.
Owner gardener of Ueno Farm in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. After studying horticulture in the UK for about a year, he opened his garden to the public as Ueno Farm in 2001, worked on the garden in Furano, which was the setting for the 2008 TV drama "Wind Garden," and launched the "Hokkaido Garden Highway" in 2009.
He currently leads the garden industry in Hokkaido, managing Ueno Farm, a Hokkaido-based farm that boasts magnificent flowers blooming all year round.

Professor Kosei Ohno
ROSEGROWER. He has designed and planted rose gardens in various locations, including Gifu's Hana Festa Memorial Park and Nagano Karuizawa Lake Garden. He has appeared on many TV shows and magazines, including NHK's Hobby Gardening. He has spoken at lectures and other events about the wide range of appeal of roses, including easy cultivation methods and a lifestyle that incorporates roses. His published and co-authored works include "My First Roses" (FG Musashi), "Old Roses and Climbing Roses Illustrated Guide 674" (Kodansha), "Four Seasons Blooming Tree Roses Illustrated Guide 728" (Kodansha), "English Roses" (Kodansha), and many others.

Ms. Kay Yamada
British horticulture researcher and owner of Tateshina Plateau Barakura English Garden. After working as a flower designer, he founded the lifestyle brand "Barairo no Kurashi" in 1970. While traveling around Europe in search of clothing materials, he was captivated by the beauty of British gardens, and in 1990 he opened Japan's first full-scale English-style garden, "Tateshina Plateau Barakura English Garden," in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture. Since then, he has personally tended the garden every day, created show gardens around the country, and energetically supervised the design of public and private English gardens.

Nature observation instructor.
"Why not take a casual trip to the fields and mountains?" My love of flowers has led me to Chiba. Let's take our time to look at the lovely flowers blooming at our feet and make small discoveries! With "easy" as our motto, we will accompany you using quizzes and resumes.

Professor Ayako Takagi
Horticultural researcher.
He has been growing many roses for many years, and has a particularly large collection of fragrant roses. He writes for gardening magazines, judges contests, and is a lecturer on TV gardening programs.

Yumiko Matsuzawa
A flower traveller (hanatavist).
A former tour conductor popular for his friendly personality, he will use his experience appreciating wildflowers during his travels to add color to your trip.

Professor Keiko Yoshitani
Japanese horticultural researcher and garden designer.
Graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Fine Arts, Visual Design Course. After working as an advertising art designer, he moved to the UK in 1992. After returning to Japan, he used his experience in the UK to pursue a career in horticulture.
Her books include "The Joys of an Elegant British Lifestyle in Poverty," "Keiko Yoshitani's Gardening Style: The Joys of Kitchen Gardens," and "Keiko Yoshitani's Garden Life," among others.
