Amanohashidate

Amanohashidate, one of the Three Most Scenic Spots of Japan, is a sandy beach about 20 to 170 meters wide and 3.6 km long, with a rare topography of about 8,000 pine trees. It was given the name "Amanohashidate" because its shape resembles a bridge in the sky.

Ine Boathouse

In Ine Town, located on the eastern tip of the Tango Peninsula, boat garages are called funaya. The sight of around 230 funaya lined up along the 5km bay directly facing the sea is spectacular.

Kyoto Tango Railway

Kotohikihama Beach

Maizuru

Maizuru, the town of repatriation, is known throughout Japan for the song "Mother on the Wharf," which goes, "Mother came, and she came again today." Repatriation Memorial Park was established on a small hill overlooking the repatriation site, and the repatriation pier has been restored.

Izushi

This town once flourished as a castle town around Izushi Castle. It is also designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings by the national government.

Genbudo Cave

You can enjoy the beautiful scenery created by the ``columnar joints'' that form regular cracks when the lava that flows from volcanic activity cools and hardens into rock.
