Shuri Castle Projection Mapping 2025 Tours & Travel
Club Tourism 's "Shuri Castle Event Special"! Come visit Okinawa, the island where spring comes early! We will introduce you to a variety of spectacular views that herald the arrival of spring in Okinawa, including a special Shuri Castle projection mapping viewing event, whale watching, and viewing of winter cherry blossoms at the World Heritage Site, Jan. Castle, for a limited four-day event from January 24th to 27th, 2025.

Special viewing of Shuri Castle projection mapping
Enjoy projection mapping and Ryukyu performing arts at Shuri Castle Park.
Under the general production of leading Okinawan director Daiichi Hirata, the show will present Okinawa's history and culture, as well as hopes for the reconstruction of Shuri Castle, in a three-dimensional way using light, sound and entertainment.

The Nakijin Castle ruins were designated as a national historic site in May. 1972, and in Dec. 2000, the gusuku site and related heritage sites, including the Nakijin Castle ruins, were registered as a World Heritage Site.
Okinawa is the place where you can enjoy cherry blossoms the earliest in Japan, and they are characterized by their deep pink color and downward-facing flowers.
Powerful whale watching
Humpback whales, one of the largest mammals, come to the waters near the Kerama Islands in Okinawa every winter in search of warm waters to give birth.
If you're lucky, you might even encounter a mother whale and her baby!
Watching a bullfight in Uruma City
Bullfighting is so popular in Okinawa with people of all ages and genders that it even has its own local program broadcast in Uruma City, the city of bullfighting.

If it's only light rain, the event will most likely go ahead, but if the weather is bad it may be cancelled.
This is the season when the temperature difference between daytime and nighttime becomes large and the sky becomes cloudy more often. It can also feel chilly at times, so it's a good idea to bring a jacket.
You may get splashed by waves. Umbrellas are not permitted, so please bring a poncho or raincoat.
Don't worry, sightseeing will proceed at a leisurely pace. However, please be careful as Shuri Castle Park and Nakijin Castle are paved with stone.
Nakijin Castle: There are many stone steps and uneven surfaces, making it difficult to view in a wheelchair. Please note that there are no ramps or other facilities to protect the ruins.
Whale watching: Due to limited space on board, wheelchairs cannot be brought on board. As the boat rocks, please make sure to have a caregiver accompany you.
