Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
The underwater world of Okinawa is recreated. The whale sharks, rays and manta rays swimming leisurely in the huge Kuroshio Sea tank that fills the entire field of vision are a highlight! There is also a spectacular dolphin show!
Okinawa World
The Super Eisa is very impressive! You can experience Okinawa through old houses and Gyokusendo Cave, which is said to be the most beautiful limestone cave in the East.
Shuri Castle Park
It goes without saying that this is one of Okinawa's most well-known tourist spots. You can also see the Shureimon Gate, the World Heritage Site Sonohyan Utaki Stone Gate, and the remains of the main hall, which is currently being restored.
Kokusai Street
The main street of Okinawa-Prefecture Naha-City. Approximately 600 souvenir shops and restaurants are gathered along the 1.6 km street.
Umikaji Terrace
This is a fashionable shopping spot that opened near Naha airport in 2015. It is also a popular spot for watching planes take off and land at Naha airport.
Murasakimura Experience Kingdom
An experiential theme park that recreates samurai residences and streets of Naha from the 15th century. The Ryukyu Lantern Festival is held from December to Mar., and the lights of lanterns gently illuminate the buildings from the Ryukyu Dynasty era.

Cape Manzamo

Yanbaru region, a World Natural Heritage site
It was registered as a World Heritage Site in July 2021, along with Amami Oshima and Tokunoshima in Kagoshima Prefecture and Iriomote Island in the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa Prefecture. It is characterized by rare flora and fauna and landscapes nurtured by the world's rare natural environment.
Daisekirinzan
It is located in a quasi-national park encompasses a shrine of Ryukyu mythology, and offers a variety of sights, including strange rocks, huge boulders, subtropical forests, and magnificent panoramas.
Cape Hedo
The northernmost point of Okinawa's main island. From the cape, you can see the spectacular view of the raging waves of the Pacific Ocean and East China Sea crashing on the shore, and on clear days you can even see Yoron on the horizon.
Hiji Falls
It is home to many scientifically valuable flora and fauna, and you may even encounter rare animals designated as natural monuments. It is a spot where you can fully enjoy a walk while enjoying forest bathing.
Rail Forest
There is an information booth where you can learn about the ecology and environmental conditions of the Okinawa rail, as well as an observation booth that recreates the environment in which it lives, allowing you to observe the real Okinawa rail up close.
Gesashi Bay
In the Gesashi River area, where fresh water and sea water mix, mangrove forests grow over an area of about 10 hectares. The "Gesashi Bay Mangrove Forest" has been designated as a national natural monument.
Higashimura Fureai Hirugi Park
This is a park you can easily enjoy the nature of mangroves. Walk along the wooden boardwalk and look for three types of mangroves and creatures living in the mangrove forest.

Gusuku and Related Properties of the Kingdom of the Ryukyus
Five Gusuku (royal castle ruins) and four related ruins were registered as a World Heritage Site in 2000 as "Gusuku Sites and Related Properties of the Kingdom of the Ryukyus."
Sonohyan Utaki Stone Gate
This is a prayer site located near the Shureimon Gate on the grounds of Shurijo Castle Park. In the forest behind the stone gate is a sacred shrine, where the king would pray for a safe journey before going out.
Tamaudun
A magnificent stone structure on the west side of Shuri Castle Park. It is said to have been built in 1501 by King Sho Shin, the third king of the Second Sho Dynasty, for his father, King Sho En.
Shikinaen Garden
The largest villa and garden of the Ryukyu royal family, built in 1799. It was used as a retreat for the royal family and to entertain Chinese envoys who were the Chinese emperor's messengers.
Sefa Utaki
A sacred place of the founding of the Ryukyu Islands. It is said to be one of the seven sacred places built by the founder Amamikiyo when the country was first established. A sacred place that played an important role as a place of national rituals that represents the unique form of faith of the Ryukyu Islands.
Nakagusuku Castle ruins
Built on a hill about 160m above sea level along Nakagusuku Bay, this castle ruin consists of six enclosures.
Of the 300 or so gusuku castles in the prefecture, this is one of the most beautiful ruins remaining, and its castle-building techniques are also highly regarded.
Katsuren Castle Ruins
The castle is made up of four staggered enclosures, with beautifully built-up walls that take advantage of the slope. Built on a hill about 100m above sea level and surrounded by cliffs, it is resistant to enemies. It was built around the 11th to 12th century.
Nakijin Castle Ruins
Built in the 14th century before the unification of the Ryukyu Kingdom, it is the oldestof the existing castle ruins and has the largest site. It was the residence of Kitayama King during Miyama period, and is characterized by its long walls reminiscent of the Great Wall of China.
Zakimi Castle Ruins
A famous castle built as the residence of Gosamaru, the local chief priest who was also known as a castle builder.
The highlights are Okinawa's oldest arched stone gate and a castle wall made of Kiriishi coral limestone. The place was used for entertaining guests.

Okinawa Battlefield: Thinking about Peace
In 1945, towards the end of the Pacific War, a ground battle took place between the Rengo forces, mainly the US military, and Japan military, resulting in the deaths of many civilians. Let's visit the battlefields scattered across Okinawa's main island and think about peace once again.
Himeyuri Tower
This tower enshrines the souls of the many Himeyuri girls who were mobilized as students as nursing personnel during the Battle of Okinawa and lost their lives.
Peace Memorial Park
This park was built on Mabuni Hill, the site where the Battle of Okinawa ended, with the hope for peace, so that the same mistakes will never be repeated.
Former Navy Headquarters Cave
An underground fortress of the former navy, dug by hand. The command room and operations room remain just as they were at the time, and it is open to the public along with the attached museum as a war site to learn about the Battle of Okinawa.
Chibichirigama
This is the place where mass suicides took place, a horrific scene of hell in which families killed each other out of fear of the brutal treatment they would receive from American soldiers.
Kakazu Takadai Park
Located in Ginowan-City, this was a fierce battlefield during the Battle of Okinawa, and even today the pillboxes used by Japan military remain as they were at the time. From the observation deck you can get a panoramic view of the US military's Futemma Air Base.
Tsushima-Maru Memorial Museum
The Tsushima Maru, a ship carrying a group of children, was attacked by the US military and sank, killing many children. Documents and testimonies from the children on board are on display.
