A hot spring inn that speaks of history... Hotel Ichii is a hot spring inn located in front of the Yubatake, the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen. 4,600 liters of hot water gushes out from the Yubatake every minute. Along with the smell of sulfur and steam, the hot spring water flows endlessly. We have been in business for over 300 years since the Edo period, standing tall in the Yubatake of Kusatsu Onsen. Affectionately known as Banido no Ichii, we continue to convey the same hospitality and spirit of "Ichi" (number one) that has remained unchanged since ancient times.

Kusatsu Onsen has six hot springs. Hotel Ichii draws from two of these precious hot springs. The large bath uses the slightly cloudy "Yubata-mae Shirahata Source," while the open-air bath uses the clear "Shiraneyama Bandaiko Source," a natural hot spring that flows freely. Please enjoy the difference in the quality of the two types of hot springs.

All rooms are equipped with an open-air bath. You can enjoy the open-air bath with natural hot spring water in all rooms. These spacious rooms have separate bedrooms and living rooms.

There are a total of 23 types of baths, made from two hot springs. Enjoy bathing in the hot springs of Kusatsu without leaving the inn. You can also use the bench-style "rock bath," two types of saunas (dry and wet), and three types of private open-air baths free of charge.

The famous hot spring of Kinugawa Onsen is also known as "Kawaji for wounds, waterfall for burns (present-day Kinugawa Onsen)." In the past, the hot spring was the territory of Nikko's Jisha and shrines, and was only available to Daimyo and monks returning from pilgrimages Nikko. The alkaline simple spring water is also good for smooth, beautiful skin, and is gentle on children and people with sensitive skin. At Kinugawa Onsen Hotel, you can enjoy a total of 10 types of baths, including themed baths with tourmaline, germanium, vermilion, and half-body baths, as well as an open-air bath and a rock bath.

Nikko Kanaya Hotel is a classic hotel with history and tradition that has been loved by important people from Japan and abroad since it opened in 1873. The specialty bath at Manza Kogen Hotel is the "Stone Garden Open-Air Bath" facing the mountain stream. It consists of eight baths, each with its own high-quality spring water.
