Tsugaru Railway (Aomori Prefecture)

The Tsugaru Railway is a local train that connects Tsugaru Goshogawara and Tsugaru-Nakazato, covering a distance of approximately 21km. It runs leisurely through the tranquil Denen while taking in the views of Mt. Iwakii from the train window. Along the line, in Kanagi, you will find house of the literary master Dazai Osamu, Shayokan, and the area still retains a nostalgic townscape. In addition to the famous winter-only Stove Train, there are also other unique trains that operate throughout the seasons, such as the Wind Chime Train in summer and the Bell Cricket Train in autumn.

Gono Line (Aomori Prefecture, Akita Prefecture)

The Gono Line is a diesel railroad line (local transportation line) of East Japan Railway Company (JR East), running 147.2 km in length, connecting Higashi Noshiro Station in Noshiro City, Akita prefecture and Kawabe Station in Inakadate Village, Minamitsugaru-gun, Aomori prefecture. It is also popular throughout Japan as a local train line that one would like to ride at least once. This popular train allows passengers to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the Sea of Japan and Shirakami Sanchi Mountain Range from the train window.

Sanriku Railway Rias Line (Iwate Prefecture)

Sanriku Railway is a local line with a superb view that runs from Kuji Station to Mori Station with a total length of 163 km. It connects the Ofunato Line, which was severely damaged by the earthquake and tsunami, to Kamaishi and Miyako, and to Kuji, which is known as the "Ama of the Northern Limit". There are many tunnels on the Rias coast, but the view of the sea near the station is wonderful. There are no highlights such as the seaside scenery where you can almost hear the noise of the tide, the cute station building that has been rebuilt during the reconstruction, and the spectacular view of nature that is embraced by the mountains. Now is the time to come to Santetsu, which has risen again from the damage caused by the typhoon in 2019 and runs with the dreams and hopes of Tohoku, which has become one.

Yamagata Railway is a railroad line that runs for 30.5 kilometers from Nanyo-shi Akayu Station to Shirataka-machi Arato Station in the Nambu and to in the Okitama region. It is called the "Flower Nagai Line" because of the many flower spots along the line, and is well known by the locals. Nanyo The scenery that travels through the two cities and two towns of Kawanishi, Nagai, and Shirataka is beautiful, and you can enjoy a variety of flowers from spring to fall, and a silver world in winter. Aizu Railway (Fukushima Prefecture)

Aizu Railway is a local railway that runs through the Aizu region, rich in nature and hot springs. It operates a 57.4km line between Nishiwakamatsu and Aizu Kogen Ozeguchi. (All trains between Aizuwakamatsu and Nishiwakamatsu run on the JR Tadami Line. From Aizu-Tajima, there is a direct line to Tobu Asakusa Station, with interchanges with the Yagan Railway and Tobu Railway.)
