The Owara Bon Festival is held by 11 neighborhoods in Yatsuo City, Toyama Prefecture.
For the people who live in Yao, this festival has a special presence that they could call the lifeblood of the town, and unlike other festivals that are just for show or participation, they place great importance on its "emotional atmosphere."
It is said that Owara dancers and local performers look their best when they are intoxicated by Owara.

The most distinctive features of Owara are the deep straw hats worn by both men and women, the powerful and dynamic "men's dance," and the flowing, graceful "women's dance."
It can be said that "Owarabushi" is sung to the impressive sound of the "Kokyu".
