Nikko Kanaya Hotel was established in 1873 and is the most existing resort hotel in Japan. Zenichiro Kanaya, who had been serving Toshogu Shrine as a pharmacist, started an inn for foreigners at his home on the advice of Dr. Hepburn in 1873. Fujiya Hotel opened on Jul. 15, 1878 as Japan's first full-scale resort hotel, and in 2020, after two years and three months, it held its grand opening on the same opening date, Jul. 15, after a "Heisei era major renovation." Aiming to be a hotel targeting foreigners, the hotel has been designed with various features aimed at foreigners in mind, having experienced a period when it was a hotel exclusively for foreign guests, and a period when it was requisitioned by the occupying forces after the war.

Mampei Hotel first opened as Kameya Inn in 1764, and was later established as Karuizawa first Western-style hotel. During the Meiji period, British missionaries stopped in Karuizawa and stayed at Kameya because the scenery and climate there resembled those of Scotland. Mampei Sato, who saw this as an opportunity, learned about the lifestyles and hospitality techniques of foreigners, renovated parts of the hotel in a Western style, and founded Mampei Hotel.

Nara Hotel was founded in 1909 as the "Kansai Guest House" and has since become a state guesthouse-like facility for state guests and Accommodation of the imperial family. Built on a hill in Nara Park Park, the hotel is a thatched-roof building, but its interior is a gorgeous Momoyama-style design, and its charming blend of Japanese and Western styles. As time passes, from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras, to the Heisei and Reiwa eras, its elegant beauty has only grown more brilliant.

The hotel was opened in 1915 within the Marunouchi building of Tokyo Station to welcome the rapidly increasing number of domestic and international guests. Due to its unique location within the station, it became a writing space for many writers, including Matsumoto Seicho, Kawabata Yasunari, and Edogawa Ranpo, and was a beloved hotel by many. After six years of construction, it was reopened in 2012. It continues to be a beloved hotel in Tokyo Marunouchi area to this day.

Hotel New Grand opened in 1927 and has continued to carve out its mark in the history of Yokohama, a port city brimming with exotic charm. Built as a symbol of the recovery of Yokohama after it had been reduced to a mountain of rubble, it has been loved by many celebrities as a guest house. The main building, which has retained its unchanged appearance since its opening, was designated a Yokohama City Historical Building in 1992 and was certified as a Modern Industrial Heritage Site in 2007, and continues to be a beloved landmark in front of Yamashita Park in Yokohama.

Gamagori Classic Hotel was founded in 1912 as the "Ryori Ryokan Tokiwakan" and was designated as the first international tourist hotel by the Ministry of Railways' International Tourism Bureau in 1934, and was completed as the Gamagori Hotel. In addition to its elegant castle-like exterior, the interior and furnishings are in the traditional Art Deco style of the former Gamagori Hotel. Located in the center of Mikawa Bay Quasi-National Park, surrounded by the Atsumi Peninsula and Chita Peninsula, the building stands on high ground and offers a spectacular view of Mikawa Bay, including Takeshima.

Unzen Kanko Hotel was founded in 1935 in Unzen, Japan's first national park. As part of a national policy to attract foreign tourists, hotels for foreigners were built all over Japan, and this area, beloved by foreigners for its high-quality hot springs, was also chosen to build a Western-style hotel. The hotel's solemn style and tranquil, elegant appearance born from tradition offers the ultimate time.

Kawana Hotel opened in 1936 in Kawana, Izu, a scenic area blessed with a warm climate. The hotel also offers traditional cuisine handed down from our forefathers, and the Kawana Hotel Golf Course, which continues to attract golfers from all over the world.
