1. Autumn leaves in Kyoto
Kyoto highly popular city with commercials aired every year, and has many spots to view autumn leaves.

2nd place: Autumn leaves Tohoku (Oirase, Naruko Gorge, etc.)
Oirase Stream is a 14km long mountain stream created by Oirase that flows out of Towada.
The sight of the wide variety of trees unique to the forest, such as beech, maple, and Japanese fir, changing color along the stream that winds through the dense woods, is simply magnificent!
3rd Nikko (Lake Chuzenji etc.) Autumn leaves (Tochigi prefecture)
Irohazaka Slope, with its 48 continuous curves, Lake Chuzenji, where the autumn leaves are reflected on the surface, the impressive Kegon Falls, which stands about 97 meters tall, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Nikko Toshogu Shrine are all highlights of the Kanto region's renowned autumn leaves spots.

Korankei is known as the best spot in the Tokai region to see autumn leaves.
There are over 4,000 maple trees, and their reflection in the clear waters of the Tomoe River is a magnificent sight.
5th place: Autumn leaves at Naeba Dragondola
(Niigata Prefecture)
During the autumn foliage season, two popular rides are available in Naeba: the Dragondola and the Tashiro Ropeway. The Naeba Dragondola is 5,481m long and takes about 25 minutes one way. It is also famous for being able to enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of autumn foliage for a long time.
6. Autumn leaves at Mount Asahidake in Daisetsuzan
(Hokkaido)
Asahidake, the main peak of the Daisetsuzan mountain range, boasts an altitude of approximately 2,291 meters.
The ropeway can take you to an altitude of about 1,600 meters, so it's popular with beginner hikers.
7th place: Autumn leaves in Kankakei, Kankakei Gorge
(Kagawa Prefecture)
The autumn leaves begin to change color at the summit of Kankakei Gorge and spread to the foothills as autumn deepens. Because of the difference in elevation, the area is also famous for the fact that the autumn leaves can be enjoyed for a long period of time.
There are about 50 kinds of trees that change color in autumn, with a variety of colors ranging from red to yellow, orange, and brown. The view from Kankakei Gorge Ropeway is also spectacular.
8th place: Autumn leaves at Miyajima・Momijidani Park
(Hiroshima Prefecture)
The scenery of the red autumn leaves that decorate the red autumn bridge in the park is recommended as a photo spot. Approximately 700 trees, including Japanese maples and Japanese maples, turn red, and the ground is dyed red with the fallen leaves.
