Echizen crab day trip/ Accommodation tour

Male snow crabs with a yellow tag, which is the mark of an Echizen crab, are called "Echizen crabs."
The inside is packed full of delicate, sweet meat, and the shell is filled with rich, flavorful crab miso.

Echizen crabs are landed at Echizen Fishing Port in Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture, as well as Mikuni Fishing Port, Fukui Fishing Port, Tsuruga Fishing Port, and Obama Fishing Port. Fishing for Echizen crabs opens on Nov. 6th every year, and they are characterized by being caught and returned to port alive. Fresh Echizen crabs are delivered to the market.

It is the only seaside hot spring in Hokuriku and a well-known hot spring with an honorable reputation for gracious hospitality. The hot spring source was originally in Yudani in the Yakushi Valley, but crustal movement caused it to move. During the Eisho era, a hot spring springing from the sea was rediscovered and named "Wakuura. Kaga In 1641, the feudal lord Kaga ordered the construction of Yushima, with hot water pots surrounding Yuguchi. The island's reputation grew even under the domain's control, as more and more spa visitors arrived by handboats to the island, which was eventually expanded.

A collective name for four hot springs located at the foot of the sacred mountain Hakusan. Yamanaka Onsen is known as a hot spring resort that has long been visited by many writers and artists, including the master of haiku Basho. Katayamazu Onsen is said to have begun when Kaga feudal lord Maeda Toshiaki discovered hot springs gushing out of Shibayamagata. Yamashiro Onsen is said to have begun about 1,300 years ago when Gyoki saw a crow healing its wound with spring water, and that spring water turned into a hot spring. It is also famous for being a place where Kitaoji Rosanjin stayed. Awazu Onsen is said to be the oldest hot spring in the Hokuriku region, opened by Echizen monk Taicho Daishi in 718 (Yoro 18) during Nara period, and is also known as a "beauty bath." Each hot spring in Kaga Onsenkyo has its own history and charm, attracting visitors.

This atmospheric hot spring is famous as "Eiheiji's Vegetarian Hot Spring" and "Kansai's Inner Palace." Each Accommodation has its own hot spring source, so even within the same hot spring town, you can enjoy slightly different spring water quality at each accommodation. Nearby, you can enjoy natural beauty such as the magnificent Tojinbo, the mysterious Oshima Island, and Lake Kitagata, where you can enjoy irises and fishing on Awara Coast.
