温泉のあれこれ

大迫力の鳴門の渦潮は必見
鳴門海峡に無数に見られる渦潮。その潮流の時速は20km、最大直径20mにも及び、すさまじい音を立てて流れていくさまは壮観。鳴門海峡が目の前の鳴門温泉に来たなら、この渦潮はぜひとも見ておきたい。間近で見るのなら、逆巻く渦の迫力に圧倒される「うずしお観潮船」で。また、大鳴門橋に造られた全長450mの海上遊歩道「大鳴門橋遊歩道・渦の道」からは、海上45mのガラス床の下に渦潮の姿を見ることができ、スリル満点だ。
