Tourist Attraction Information

Hot Spring Specialties

A new specialty udon with light pink noodles
Kawazu Sakura Udon is a new specialty of Kawazu, famous for its early-blooming Kawazu Sakura cherry blossoms. The noodles are light pink in color and made from ingredients such as wheat flour mixed with cherry blossom leaves, giving the dish a taste and aroma reminiscent of Kawazu Sakura. The bowl is topped with rape blossoms for a beautiful contrast, and is topped with crispy tempura, wakame seaweed, naruto fishcake, and spring onion.

Hot Springs

The unique "Kawazu Seven Waterfalls"
The Kawazu Seven Waterfalls has a 850m long promenade that can be walked around in about an hour one way, and features a 46m suspension bridge and two statues of the Izu Dancer. The observation deck is highly recommended as it is so close to the 22m high Kama Falls that you can feel the spray of the waterfall.
