Hirugami Onsen 's new specialty "Hanamomo Manju"
The white, pink and red "Hanamomo Manju" is a fusion of Achi Village 's representative flower, the "hanamomo," and the traditional Japanese sweets culture of the neighboring city of Iida, and was commercialized by the third sector of Achi Village. Reminiscent of the lovely pink and white flowers characteristic of hanamomo, the manju with the pink petals is filled with traditional koshian (Image bean paste) Image from the tea culture of the castle town of Iida, while the manju with the white petals is filled with vibrant pink koshian (smooth bean paste) with cherry blossom leaves kneaded into it.

"Hirugami Morning Market" is open all year round
Morning Market Square is located in the center of Hirugami Onsen, on the banks of the Achi River. Open all year round from around 6am, this morning market has become the symbol of Hirugami Onsen. Vegetables, fruits, homemade konnyaku, pickles, wild vegetables and mushrooms, and locusts boiled in soy sauce are lined up in rows. Seasonal items include bracken, cod buds, butterbur, and bamboo shoots in spring, tomatoes, corn, and peaches in summer, and wild mushrooms and apples in autumn. If you have a Monomiyu San Tegata (certified maker's pass), you can get great deals.
