Miyazaki, formerly known as the Land of Hyuga, is a kingdom of mythology and Kagura folklore. It is also home to the magnificent Myth of the Three Generations of Hyuga. The story is about the marriage of the Gods of Tenjin, Earth, and Sea, which unifies nature and gives birth to a person who will rule Japan. During the Miyazaki Tamayura Onsen Kagura Festival, famous scenes from the gods that appear in the Myth of the Three Generations of Hyuga are depicted as mythological lanterns (illuminated objects), and these colorful lanterns will welcome you at hotels along the Oyodo River. The main event of the festival, the Kagura dedication, will also be held in each hotel.
