Kurokawa Onsen shampoo and conditioner are actually used at inns. They were created with the desire to protect the natural beauty of Kurokawa Onsen. Kurokawa Onsen was the first to use hot spring pass to travel around the hot springs. As a solution to the decline in visitors, the original "bath pass" was issued in 1986, allowing free use of the open-air baths of all the inns. Furthermore, to give the whole town a natural atmosphere, trees were replanted to Image a grove, and all 200 or so signs in the town were removed. As a result, the atmosphere of a rustic hot spring town was restored to the inn. This became popular, and now many visitors come from Asian countries and Europe. In 2013, a "Kumamon" version of the pass was also introduced.
