Hot Spring Specialties

A hidden hot spring surrounded by cliffs and rough waves
This secluded inn sits quietly at the very tip of Noto in Ishikawa Prefecture. From the inn's prized open-air bath, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Sea of Japan, stunning sunrises and sunsets, and other spectacular sights reminiscent of those abroad, all of which can only be experienced at an inn built right on the coast.

Hot Springs

A secret hot spring that could only be accessed by boat
Lamp no Yado was founded in 1578 and was originally a shipping wholesaler run by the Tone family. Since it was difficult to travel by land, most of the inn's traffic is said to have arrived by sea, using boats. Even now, centuries later, the inn retains the atmosphere of the past, with the pillars of the main building still intact and the lintel's steps.
