Kotan Onsen Open-Air Bath: Feel like you're soaking in Lake Kussharo

Infinity Onsen is a hot spring where the lake and hot spring are one. When you soak in the bathtub overlooking Lake Kussharo, you can enjoy a bath that feels as if the lake and hot spring are one.

Meto Onsen and Meto Onsen Hotel are particular about lowering the temperature of the hot spring water through heat exchange without adding a single drop of water to the source.

Hokkaido	【モール泉】西春別温泉・クローバーハウス（にししゅんべつおんせん・くろーばーはうす）	"Moor springs" contain organic matter derived from plants and are also known as "natural lotions." Nishishunbetsu Onsen's "Moor Springs" are some of the thickest and smoothest hot springs in Hokkaido. The white bubbles on the surface of the amber-colored water look just like "freshly poured draft beer," and are the epitome of freshness.

Nagano Prefecture	【美肌】万葉超音波温泉・戸倉上山田温泉（まんようちょうおんぱおんせん・とぐらかみやまだおんせん）	You can expect a "double skin-beautifying effect" with its "alkaline" (removes dirt and dead skin cells from the skin) and "sulfur spring" (whitening) properties.
Nagano Prefecture	【鮮度】田沢温泉・有乳湯（たざわおんせん・うちゆ）	An overwhelming amount of water flows into the bath without heating, adding water, or disinfecting it. The smooth texture and lukewarm water feel great on the skin.

Hirase Onsen Fujisuke no Yu Fujiya Ryokan (Image)

The "sodium calcium chloride spring" water keeps you warm even after bathing and has a high moisturizing effect. It contains iron and shines a slightly brownish color.
Gifu Prefecture	【炭酸泉】下島温泉（したじまおんせん）	This is a recommended bath where you can experience carbonated spring water, a rare spring quality nationwide that is highly effective in improving blood flow, while still alive (the carbon dioxide gas content is 1.4 times the prescribed value).
Gifu Prefecture	【絶景】新穂高温泉（しんほだかおんせん）	Located at the very back of Okuhida Onsenkyo, this is a great location where you can bathe surrounded by the mountains of the Northern Alps. Mixed bathing/bathing suits are charged separately.
Gifu Prefecture	【造形美】荒城温泉（あらきおんせん）	The highlight is the floor made of hot spring water (travertine) in the shape of a rice field! Even the bathtub is coated with the water, making it unrecognizable.

Kagoshima Prefecture

"Shio Onsen Kaminoyu" (one example) has a faint sulfur smell and a pleasant, smooth feel that is sure to improve your skin.

The sulfur spring has an extremely high pH value of 9.4 to 9.6, making it a skin-beautifying spring that will have you wanting to rub it onto your cheeks.

Furusato Onsen Sakurajima Seaside Hotel (mixed bathing) - Soak in the cloudy golden water while gazing out at Kinko Bay
