冷涼な嬬恋の夏秋キャベツは格別の味
標高700m～1400mの高原地帯にある嬬恋村は、夏秋キャベツの産地として全国的にも有名。6月～9月の村の平均気温がキャベツの生育適温の15度～20度とぴったり重なり、冷涼な気候に夏の降水量の多さ、昼夜の気温差が加わって、シャッキリとみずみずしく、甘味が強くて玉が充実し柔らかい、極上の高原キャベツが育つ。つまごいパノラマラインの周辺では、グリーンのキャベツ畑が一面に広がり、美しく爽やかな高原風景となっている。

美しい高原の湖で釣りの醍醐味を堪能
バラギ湖は「日本百名山」の浅間山、四阿山、草津白根山を望む爽やかな高原リゾート。「無印良品カンパーニャ嬬恋キャンプ場」に隣接し、ゆっくり自然を楽しむには絶好のスポットだ。4月下旬～11月上旬はフィッシングエリアの釣りが解禁され、厳寒期は氷上ワカサギ釣りが楽しめる。レインボートラウトを多く放流するが、自然で野生味ある魚との駆け引きが堪能できると評判が高い。
