温泉のあれこれ

多彩な五色沼を巡る五色沼自然探勝路
毘沙門沼から柳沼まで神秘的な五色沼をめぐる約3.6kmのトレッキングコース。五色沼とは裏磐梯地域にある20～30の沼の総称。沼は、鉱物質の溶け方や光の屈折の違いによって、それぞれに違う色に見える。このコースは、道幅が広いので歩きやすく、高低差が少なく気軽に進める。途中には展望台もあり、1888年の磐梯山噴火の際に流れ落ちてきた大きな岩や噴火後に行われた植林事業で植えられ大きく育ったアカマツを見ることもできる。
