Yunogo Onsen

It is one of the "Okayama Prefecture Mimasaka 3 hot springs" (*) and one of the best in the Chugoku region. Yunosato It is popular among women as a hot spring for beautiful skin. It has a long history and is also called "the hot spring of Shirasagi" because it was discovered in the Heian era by the Buddhist priest Jikaku Daienin, who was guided by Shirasagi.

Tomonoura Hot Springs

Tomonoura Onsen boasts one of the highest radium (simple, weakly radioactive cold mineral springs) contents in Japan. Near Numakuma Shrine, where Owatatsumi-no-Mikoto and Susanoo-no-Mikoto are enshrined, there is a sacred spring whose source never dries up, even in years of drought. It is also called "Kosui" and is said to have had miraculous powers for curing illnesses since ancient times.
