Hot Spring Specialties

Hospitality with carefully selected wild vegetable dishes
Hanaya no Mori is a private inn that serves up seasonal, freshly picked ingredients in a "naturally creative banquet" that makes the most of their flavor. The chef himself goes into the mountains to collect the wild vegetables used. From Apr. to early Jun., wild vegetables such as butterbur sprouts, shidoke, uruy, mountain burdock, aburame, bracken, horsetail, water lily, honna, bamboo shoots, tarano buds, kogomi, and fern are in abundance and are transformed into a variety of dishes and served on the dinner table.

Hot Springs

Enjoy the nature of Mt. Okami and the scenery of Lake Hosen
The inn is surrounded by nature in all four seasons. Tamagawa Dam's artificial lake, Lake Hosen, is a beautiful reservoir lake with blue water, and offers a beautiful view from the season of new green leaves to the season of autumn leaves. The cone-shaped mountain located in the middle of Lake Hosen is Mount Ogami, where the legend of two gods remains. Directly below that, in the center of Lake Hosen, is the Ogami Bridge, and from here the view of Lake Hosen and Mount Ogami is magnificent.
