How to submit your "Travel Memories" photos

We are looking for photos of "travel memories" taken during your travels. The winners of the photo contest will receive local specialties from all over Japan.

We are looking for photos of your "travel memories." Please submit your travel memories, such as a photo that rivals those in a guidebook or a special moment that you discovered. We look forward to receiving your works.
The photos you submit will be published in travel catalogues such as "Tabi no Tomo" and on our website, so please apply!

*We may not be able to post works that include temples, shrines, museums, festivals, public facilities, tourist facilities, events, transportation, etc., works that include faces that can identify individuals, whether they are yourself, your friends, or other people, or works that we deem inappropriate. In addition, submitted works will be posted on the website, but it will take about 7 to 10 days after submission.

・The work must be an original work by the applicant.

- Do not infringe on the copyright, portrait rights Other rights of any third party.
・Works that have not been submitted to exhibitions, contests, magazines, etc.
-The date of the photo must be within 5 years of the date of posting.
*The submitted work must not differ significantly from the current landscape.
*For photos taken during your stay with us, please enter Tour Number and departure date of the tour in the comments section.
- You must agree to the terms and conditions regarding portrait rights and copyrights stated in the contest overview, and your entry method and specifications must be in accordance with the guidelines.
- You have not posted the same work more than twice (submissions after the second time are invalid)
・Submitted works must not have been excessively edited.
* Overall color adjustments such as brightness, saturation, and white balance are acceptable, but images that are significantly different from the actual scenery or the time of shooting, or images that have undergone significant image processing (excluding color tone adjustments), will not be eligible for entry.

・There are no restrictions on whether you are professional or amateur, or your nationality.
・Applicants must be the creator of the submitted work.
・Minors need parental consent.

・We will handle submitted works with the utmost care and responsibility, from acceptance to selection and publication. However, we cannot provide compensation in the unlikely event of loss or damage.
・Please note that submitted works will not be returned.

・The submitted work may be used without compensation on websites operated by our company, in various advertisements such as the travel magazine "Tabi no Tomo," in travel service guides, and on social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
・We do not contact applicants when their job is posted, so please be aware of this before applying.
・At the time of publication, our company may modify the work due to editorial constraints and considerations (such as differences in printing color or size, blurring or cropping people or objects in the background, or parts that cannot be published).
・The entrant's name (or pen name, if a pen name was entered when submitting) and place of residence (prefecture) will be published along with the submitted work.
・The content of the optional [Comment on your travel photo/memories of the time of taking the photo] section that you fill out when applying may be used in media published by our company, email newsletters, etc.

・Copyright for submitted works will belong to the applicant (photographer).
・If your entry includes a portrait of a third party or is the work of a third party other than yourself, you must obtain prior permission and approval from the relevant rights holder (the author of the submitted work) regarding privacy and copyrighted material in order to enter this contest and for our use.
- Applicants must deal with any issues arising from the submitted work infringing or potentially infringing the portrait rights, copyrights, publicity rights or Other rights of a third party at their own expense and responsibility; our company will not be involved in any way.
If we are unable to contact the applicant, the application and/or award will be invalidated.
- We are not responsible for any damages caused to applicants or third parties as a result of our use of the submitted works.
・Works that include temples, shrines, museums, festivals, public facilities, tourist facilities, events, transportation, etc., works that include faces that can be used to identify individuals (whether of yourself, a friend, or another person), and works that our company deems unsuitable may take some time to post on websites operated by our company (including the page listing submitted works), various advertisements, travel service guides, social media, etc., or may not be posted at all.
