Kitagawa Village "Monet's Garden" Marmottan
The garden of Giverny in France was lovingly created by the great Impressionist Claude Monet. Monet's Garden Marmottan in Kitagawa Village is the only garden in the world allowed to bear this name by the original Giverny, as it is a faithful reproduction of Monet's vision, making use of the nature of Kochi.

"Flower Garden" where colors spread out like a palette
"Water Garden" where Monet's beloved water lilies bloom
The best time to see the water lilies is usually from late Apr. to early Oct..During the event, the exhibition will be held by the pressed flower artist Nobuo Sugino.
The work will be exhibited.
In the season when the beautiful flowers are in full bloom, you can take a leisurely stroll through the gardens before opening time, and there will also be an explanation by head gardener Yutaka Kawakami, who has been awarded the French Order of Arts and Letters "Chevalier" (limited to some tours), and a mini accordion concert. We hope you will enjoy a special moment.

May. is the season when flowers bloom the most in the year. Temperate water lilies, roses, and voluminous flowers. We hope you will take your time to enjoy another version of Monet's garden that can only be found in Kitagawa Village. We look forward to seeing you there.
