Sawara Spring Festival

This Hinamatsuri will allow you to view important items passed down in private homes, such as precious Hina dolls and ornamental decorations made in the Edo and Meiji periods, while gazing at the townscape of Sawara, which retains the atmosphere of the commercial capital of Edo.

This Hinamatsuri festival allows you to see important items passed down in private homes, such as historic Hina dolls and Odenkazari ornaments made in the Edo and Meiji periods, while admiring the streets of Sawara, which still retain the atmosphere of the Edo period's commercial capital. For one day only, a "Hina Bune" float will be held, where Hina dolls are floated down the water. Don't miss this special opportunity!
