Kurashiki A town steeped in historical romance
Kurashiki flourished as the gateway port for the Matsuyama domain and a transit point for the transportation of goods to the Kansai region, and even today along the river you can encounter scenes that remain unchanged from the past, such as inns with latticed doors, sake shops with cedar balls hanging from their eaves, and the approach to Achi Shrine.
Club Tourism has the Ohara Museum of Art available for exclusive use!
The main building is in the style of a Greek temple. Upon entering the gate, you are greeted by a sculpture by Rodin.-

Ohara Museum of Art was founded in 1930 by Kurashiki businessman Ohara Magosaburo, and is the first private art museum in Japan to exhibit Western art and modern martial arts. On days when the museum is normally closed, three buildings - the main building, the literature building, and the craft and oriental arts building - are specially rented out for exclusive use. Please take your time to appreciate the many works by masters of the world's art world.

We look forward to your visit. The Ohara Museum of Art is now known as a modern art museum, but when it began collecting works, many of them were purchased directly from the artists, and it is also a "contemporary art museum" that has continued to house works from the same era. We would like you to see the results of our 85 years of accumulating the "now" that we have selected.
