What is the Aomori 10th Anniversary Festival?

Five years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake, and in order to promote the recovery, 10 cities in Aomori Prefecture have joined forces to hold an event that rotates between cities, bringing together festivals, traditional performing arts, food, and more from each city. This year, it will be held in Goshogawara City. There will be a parade of 11 floats and dances, including Aomori Nebuta, Hirosaki Nebuta, Goshogawara Tachineputa, Hirakawa Nebuta, and Uma Nebuta, so you can see all the "Aomori festivals" that you missed this year all at once!

• You will watch the parade from special seats (pipe chairs).
• At Club Tourism booth, students from Goshogawara Agricultural High School and Kuwata-san will be giving away a sasamichi (rice cake made with bamboo leaves)
