"Good travel manners" refers to people who have good travel manners. We aim to create comfortable trips while supporting our customers in improving their "travel manners."

Recommendations for a good travel companion

Travel preparations

  • The best way to enjoy a trip is to be natural. As you are about to embark on a long-awaited trip, you may feel excited and want to dress up, but some people may be concerned about wearing too much perfume or makeup. After all, being natural is the best way to make friends.
  • Put a name tag on your travel bag, backpack, etc.! When Overseas Travel, put a name tag in Roman letters! This will help prevent mistakes when checking in luggage. We recommend that you put something on your bag to help you avoid mistakes when taking out souvenirs or luggage stored in the trunk room.

Greetings

  • By using just a few words well, you can have a pleasant trip with your friends. Be natural and don't be shy, and be proactive in exchanging greetings. "Good morning," "Hello," "Nice to meet you," "Thank you," "See you later," and "Excuse me."
  • The trick to having a comfortable stay is to exchange greetings with your roommates once again, especially since you will be sharing your room with them. If you greet them properly at the beginning, you will be able to use the sink, bath, toilet, etc. with consideration and consideration for each other. The first time is the most important thing.

Consideration

  • When placing souvenirs or luggage on the shelves, please be considerate of others and make sure there is enough space for them to do so. Luggage that cannot be stored on the shelves can be stored in a storage room. It is also nice to see small acts of consideration, such as helping others put their luggage on or off the shelves.
  • The same goes for sharing a room. You can have a comfortable stay by sharing the bathroom, toilet, bath, and futon. On the other hand, a hidden point to make your stay even more comfortable is to think about the next person who has given up their space and use it neatly. If you are sharing a room, please refrain from smoking inside. In order for everyone to have a comfortable stay, you may need to "put up" with some of your usual lifestyle habits.

Helping each other

  • When you are late for a meeting, say "I'm sorry" honestly, and when someone helps you, say "Thank you" cheerfully. This will create a friendly atmosphere for those around you and encourage lively conversation. Trouble and difficulties are also opportunities to deepen trust with your colleagues.
  • The appeal of Club Tourism is that you can meet new travel companions. Be proactive and invite others to join you. In particular, inviting solo travelers to take photos, eat meals, and take part in free time activities can help to create a more harmonious atmosphere throughout the tour. Be brave and proactively expand your circle of travel companions.

Travel Etiquette

Inside the bus

  • Please understand and cooperate that, as a general rule, bus seats should not be reclined, as there are many passengers getting on and off during the day (excluding night buses and some routes where reclining seats are available).
  • There will be no video screening in the car.
  • Please wear your seat belt for your safety.
  • Please check the seating chart on the day to determine your seating arrangement.
  • Please refrain from causing trouble through drinking.
  • If you are participating in a group, please make sure you don't make conversation too loud.

Be careful not to pick up the wrong luggage!

  • There have been many cases of people mistaking their luggage and shopping items when leaving the tour, especially on bus tours. Please make sure that the luggage is yours. We also recommend that you write your name on the bag or attach a tag to identify it.

Group Activities

  • Please be sure to arrive on time. Departing from multiple locations or being late for a sightseeing spot will cause inconvenience to all participants.
  • Please act as a group, as individual behavior such as shopping, taking photos, or visiting places not included in Itinerary sightseeing spots will interfere with the tour.

When bathing in hot springs

  • If possible, avoid bathing immediately before or after a meal.
It is said that it is good to take a bath before a meal, but if you are taking a bath after a meal, take a 30-minute to 1-hour break and then start with lukewarm water.
  • Bathing is strictly prohibited if you have consumed alcohol.
Even if you are only slightly intoxicated, avoid bathing until you have sobered up.
*The bathroom is slippery, so if you are drunk there is a risk of falling or drowning.
  • Hot water sickness
If the water is from a hot spring, depending on its ingredients, it may cause ill health such as headaches, dizziness, fever, and vomiting.
Request: Please do not rush into the hot spring, do not stay in the bath for too long, and make sure to stay hydrated.

Smoking

  • Smoking areas are limited in tourist areas to protect the environment and prevent danger. Please smoke only in designated smoking areas and place your cigarette butts in ashtrays (no ashtrays allowed). Smoking is prohibited even outdoors (using a portable ashtray is against the rules). Please refrain from smoking on buses, in shared rooms, while Meals, walking, or in meeting places.

Drinking

  • Although the level of alcohol consumption varies from person to person, please do not cause trouble to other customers. If you are causing excessive trouble, you may be asked to leave the group.

Mobile Phone Edition

  • Please refrain from using mobile phones on the bus or train. Tour conductors will only use them for work purposes.

Environmental Issues

  • To protect the environment, the engine may stop and the air conditioning and heating may be turned off when the bus is stopped. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
  • We ask for your understanding and cooperation in our "No Litter, No Leftovers, No Bringing in" initiative.
